Awaken your voice · Welcome the light · Step into spring ·
In the tender time following the Spring Equinox, when days and nights still meet in balance, we gather to honour the turning of the wheel and the powerful shift from winter into spring. Join mother and daughter Michelle and Brigite for a nourishing day retreat of movement, breath, voice, and nature connection, supporting renewal, clarity, and creative awakening.
An invitation to pause, listen inwardly, and re-emerge with intention as the earth begins to stir.
What to expect throughout the day
Through gentle Hatha-Vinyasa yoga, embodied voice practices, breathwork, poetry, and reflection, we’ll shake off winter’s stillness, compost what we’re ready to leave behind, and plant seeds for the season ahead.
This is an opportunity to pause as the balance tips from winter to spring, to re-source, feel present, and quietly enlivened.

Meet the facilitators
Michelle Ridings
Michelle is a singer, theatre performer, and voice coach with over 30 years’ experience facilitating movement, performance, and vocal practices. She is deeply passionate about supporting people to find, develop, and trust their authentic voice—building confidence in speaking up, expressing emotion, and reconnecting with the joy of singing from the soul.
Michelle works with professionals and complete beginners alike, especially those who believe they “can’t sing.” Her work is rooted in the belief that the voice is a powerful tool for healing, connection, and change.
“The power of the voice in song is something we carry within us wherever we go. When we sing together, we resonate together—and that resonance can become a force for healing and transformation.”
Brigitte Rowan
Brigitte is a folk singer, intuitive voice practitioner, and trauma-informed tantric yoga teacher. Raised between rural Portugal and Devon, her early life was immersed in singing, nature, and earth-based practices—foundations that continue to shape her work.
Following a life-threatening accident in her teenage years, Brigitte discovered yoga as a pathway for physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery. She has trained in Krama Vinyasa Tantra, trauma-informed yoga, and collaborative vocal improvisation.
Her teaching weaves together embodied voices, somatics, nature connection, and trauma-aware practices, supporting people to feel grounded, present, and free to express their authentic voice.
