About Me

Welcome, I’m Brigite — a singer-songwriter, trauma-informed vocal coach, yoga teacher, and eco-somatics facilitator.

I offer group workshops and one-to-one sessions rooted in embodied, creative, and nature-based practices that support people to reconnect with their bodies, awaken their authentic voices, and deepen their relationship with themselves, each other, and the living world.

My work weaves together embodied voice activation, vocal improvisation, Nada Yoga, yoga, meditation, breathwork, eco-somatics, and the sharing of folk and medicine songs.

At the heart of my work is a belief that every person has an innate capacity for expression, creativity, and connection. I create spaces that support healing, self-discovery, and embodied belonging, helping people rediscover the wisdom, resonance, and power of their own voice.

Who I Work With

I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, including young adults experiencing complex trauma, PTSD, neurodivergence, and those navigating addiction recovery.

Much of my work is devoted to supporting people who have been told they "can't sing", should stay quiet, or feel disconnected from their self-expression, to remember their voice as a birthright.

My website under construction at the moment & there are exciting things brewing…

I am currently in the process of building my website and listing my offerings. Im very grateful for your patience and in the meantime please do get in touch, follow me on social media or sign up to my newsletter for more information about 1-1s and group workshops.

The Roots of This Work

My path into this work has been shaped by a lifelong relationship with voice, movement, healing, and the natural world.

I grew up between Europe and rural Devon in a semi-nomadic, off-grid environment, without electricity, running water, or recorded music. Much of my childhood was spent outdoors, singing in the landscape, learning traditional land-based skills, and developing a deep relationship with the living world. These early experiences continue to shape both my life and my work.

As an older child and teenager, I spent much of my time within New Age Traveller and alternative communities while trying to integrate into mainstream English education. While this upbringing brought many gifts, it also came with complex challenges and over-exposure. Like many young people searching for their place in the world, I struggled with identity, belonging, and self-worth and became increasingly disconnected from my body, creativity, and voice. Anxiety, depression, dissociation, addiction and relational trauma where parts of my journey as a young person and the challenges I faced during those years became some of my greatest teachers and drives behind the work I do today.

A life-threatening accident in my late teens became a profound turning point. During my recovery, yoga emerged as a powerful catalyst for healing and transformation. Through practice, I slowly rebuilt my physical health as well as my relationship with myself, rediscovered my voice, and began to experience a deeper sense of presence, purpose, and connection.

In my early twenties, I worked farming families and children in Spain and Brazil before embarking on an eighteen-month solo bicycle pilgrimage across South America. Travelling largely without money, sleeping outdoors, and spending time with local and Indigenous communities, I experienced first-hand the transformative power of  song, movement, wilderness, and human connection. These experiences profoundly shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, authenticity, and belonging, and planted the seeds for the work I offer today.

Since then, my path has woven together voice, yoga, therapeutic education, nature connection, community facilitation, and the ongoing study of animism, eco-somatics, and earth-based wisdom traditions.

Today, I bring these threads together through workshops, retreats, one-to-one sessions, community choirs, and circle singing. My intention is simple: to create spaces where people can reconnect with their authentic voice, rediscover their creativity, and cultivate a deeper sense of belonging within themselves, their communities, and the wider web of life.
