My semi-nomadic and off-grid childhood in Europe and rural Devon gave me an experiential belief in animism which has shaped my understanding of the world. This childhood also set me up with many of the practical land skills & therapeutic tools which inform much of my work today. Following a life threatening accident as a teenager tools from Yoga aided my physical, spiritual, and emotional recovery and I have since completed two year long trainings in Yoga Tantra as well as a trauma-informed training for yoga for marginalised communities through the Yoga Roots project.

During my early twenties I embarked on a year and a half solo journey by bicycle across South America, where I re-discovered the importance of wilderness journeying, outdoor living, singing & movement for mental, spiritual and physical health. This deepened my curiosity about the links between trauma, embodiment, vocal expression, and our capacity to live authentically. For the past three years I have been immersed in the study of music & Collaborative Vocal Improvisation with Briony Greenhill, , which I believe to be a powerful for fostering confidence, authenticity, self expression and connection.

As well as being a trained vocal practitioner and experienced yoga teacher I run two choir groups and work daily as a therapeutic voice-work tutor for young people with complex trauma and additional needs.

My Journey to this work

I am a folk singer-song writer & trauma informed voice, yoga & eco somatic’s guide. My works focus on guiding people toward deeper relationship with self, community and the natural world. As a holistic practitioner & therapeutic educator I weave together learnings from animate earth based spirituality, voice work, non dual shiva tantra &  well as practical land skills to help people become more grounded in body and environment and to uncover their authentic voices. As an experienced producer-director I am committed to curating community centred events which platform marginalised voices, land based crafts and support social and environmental justice
